Licensing with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust offers a unique brand endorsement and a wealth of inspiration in their outstanding collections. Discover Shakespeare’s world through unique objects and works of art, rare books and the words that have inspired the world for over 400 years.

2023 is the 400th anniversary year of the publication of the First Folio of Shakespeare’s plays, one of the most important books ever published and a highlight of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s collection.  This treasured volume is the first edition of Shakespeare’s collected plays, published as Mr. William Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories & Tragedies in 1623, seven years after Shakespeare’s death. It includes eighteen of Shakespeare’s plays printed for the first time and the engraved portrait of the author that has since become the iconic image of Shakespeare recognised around the world.

2023 is also the 400th anniversary year of Anne Hathaway’s death. This is a unique opportunity to commemorate the life of Shakespeare’s wife and to celebrate her childhood home, the beautiful Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

The Shakespeare Inspired brand promotes Shakespeare’s legacy through contemporary design and offers exciting licensing opportunities in homeware, textiles, stationery, gifts, jewellery, accessories and more.
